01 / THE ARCHITECTURE

Unité d’Habitation

Le Corbusier · 1952Marseille, France

Conceived as a vertical community, the Unité combines homes, internal streets and shared facilities within one concrete structure. Raised supports lift it above the ground; a grid of loggias defines the façade reproduced in the model.

Keep the concrete finish visible, or choose Model + Paint Kit to color the façade yourself. The painted piece shown is an example.
