Erosion,
precisely machined.

The broken-away corners are not accidental. A ball cutter shapes their repeatable geometry through nearly four hours of top-case machining, opening the aluminum shell to diamond-patterned light.

Silicone tumbling media creates irregular, interwoven micro-marks before acid anodizing.

02 / Visible toolpaths / as-machined

The lower case retains sharp, reflective grooves instead of erasing them through conventional sandblasting.

Beneath the raw aluminum, a three-stage leaf-spring mount works with different foam configurations to produce twelve typing combinations. An eight-layer interior keeps the object tuned for use, not display alone.
